Brynteg Renovations

February 2018

This month focused on taking the ceiling down in the kitchen/diner and the plaster off the walls.

Placing your hand on the larger stone in the centre where the chimney results in your palm coming away wet.

Here is a collection of photos to set the mood for what the cottage will look like.

Once the stone walls are exposed, cleaned and pointed, this gives an idea of what it will look like with the right sort of lighting effect.
This log burner will be a wonderful feature in the lounge.
The aim of the lighting will be modern, but with character as demonstrated above.
Although the kitchen/diner won’t be replastered, the wooden beams in this photo is an example of how the room will look.
Here the floor is the focus of what style will be brought to the cottage bathroom, rear hall entrance, utility room and kitchen/diner.
