February is the shortest month of the year, even in a leap year, filled with Valentine’s Day, the beginning of lighter evenings, the start of snowdrops and daffodils flowering, and at Brynteg, the commencing of the cottage and annexe floors.
A floor installation contractor came and went through what work will be required to install underfloor heating. Most of which we already knew about from out own research.
The first major job is to dig the floor out at a depth of 50 cm, which as you can see from the photos below, is going to take a lot of stone and dirt.
The stairs are now gone to make way for the new floor before a brand new set of stairs are installed.
