A year ago work cutting back trees and getting rid of brambles took place making the section of the garden feel more open and bigger.
A year later, as you will see, it was just as well this work took place. Otherwise, where would all the rubble have gone to?
If the grass was cut regularly with a petrol lawnmower, it would take about 2.5 hours. However, with work being done to the cottage and annexe, it wasn’t always possible to keep on top of this.
One weekend it took just over 4 hours to cut nearly 1/3 of an acre’s worth of grass. So one weekend having been able to finally complete taking rubbish to the recycle centre, which had filled both sheds, we were able to work on converting the black shed into a small garage so it could house a ride-on mower.
