This month the garden got attention mainly with the grass requiring cutting. This opened up the opportunity to take some photos to compare how it looked in August 2017 and now. Meanwhile, inside the downstairs bedroom, the wall is almost complete.

Christmas and New Year have been and gone. During this time there was nothing that could be done to either cottage or garden due to the time of year. February 2019 saw the cold starting to lift and a transformation starting to come about in the downstairs bedroom.

With the cold weather looming in, this gave us the opportunity to finish removing the plaster from the utility room and also take the bathroom back to a blank canvas. First the kitchen. Most of August was taken up clearing out all of the plaster gathered in the centre of the floors in each of the rooms of the cottage ready for the stone walls to be cleaned and pointed.
